Frangipani, Plumeria

Plumeria flowers are most fragrant at night. The flowers yield no nectar, however, and simply trick their pollinators. Animals inadvertently pollinate them by transferring pollen from flower to flower in their fruitless search for nectar. Insects or human pollination can help create new varieties of plumeria. Plumeria trees from cross-pollinated seeds may show characteristics of the mother tree or their flowers might just have a totally new look.

Cactus Flower, Cacti

A cactus (plural cacti)is a member of the plant family Cactaceae, a family comprising about 127 genera with some 1750 known species of the order Caryophyllales (a diverse and heterogeneous order of flowering plants).

Nagnata

Elephant Ear, Colocasia

A herbaceous perennial plant with leaves that are large to very large, 20–150cm long, with a sagittate shape. The elephant's-ear plant gets its name from the leaves, which are shaped like a large ear or shield. Like other members of the family, the plant contains an irritant that causes intense discomfort to the lips, mouth and throat. This acridity is caused in part by microscopic needle-like raphides of calcium oxalate monohydrate.

Tropical Hibiscus, Hibiscus

Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. The genus is quite large, comprising several hundred species that are native to warm-temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world. Member species are renowned for their large, showy flowers and those species are commonly known simply as "hibiscus". Other names include rose of sharon and tropical hibiscus.

Rose, Rosa

The classic rose has long been loved for its aroma and looks. A rose is a perennial flowering plant in the family Rosaceae. There are over three hundred species and tens of thousands of cultivars. They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing, or trailing, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds.

Oleander, Nerium

Oleander is a shrub cultivated worldwide in temperate and subtropical areas as an ornamental and landscaping plant. White, pink or red five-lobed flowers grow in clusters year-round, peaking during the summer. The fruit is a long narrow pair of follicles, which splits open at maturity to release numerous downy seeds. Nerium contains several toxic compounds, and it has historically been considered a poisonous plant. However, its bitterness renders it unpalatable to humans and most animals, so poisoning cases are rare and the general risk for human mortality is low.
